Fall Things 2012

We've had a beautiful fall.  The weather has been great and we have really been able to enjoy being outdoors enjoying it.
The new City Creek opened up in early spring and we LOVE it down there.  It's such a fun environment and lots of fun new shops.  While Maggie was gone in Montana, the four of us headed downtown to enjoy a little quieter of an evening with out her.
We love to stand in this spot and look at the beautiful temple.  It was a perfect evening out!

Maggie enjoys visiting also.  Lots of water features to watch and play in.  This particular time we met some friends for lunch.

So lucky to have cousins SO close!  We spent a day visiting the witches at Gardner Village.

We stocked up on the treats.  It was a perfect afternoon for finding all the witches.

"Carter's pumpkin" this year turned out quite nice.  He took great care of making sure it got lots of water and was well nourished.  He'll make a great daddy one day!

On Oct. 23rd we got a new cousin/nephew.  Baby Dax.  He's pretty cute!
We can hardly wait for another new baby boy cousin to be joining the ranks soon too.

Glen and I have enjoyed watching this election year.  The debates were fun for us to watch and we loved the excitement of cheering for our candidate.
Even though things didn't turn out how we would have liked we are still so grateful for our country and the freedoms that we are allowed.
We love you Mitt!

I'll never tire of this view!  It's so wonderful to wake up on fall mornings and see the yellow coming through the windows.  We are really so lucky to have such a beautiful view of the mountains to the east of us too, just from our porch!
Now picking up the leaves is not one of favorite things!  Lots and lots of leaves and lots and lots of black bags.  We will always have great memories of doing the job every year though and that's something that I do treasure!

The mornings are now cooler and I feel so lucky to have my 2 year old to cuddle up to in the mornings.   She's a great little companion to have around.

Hands down, Fall is my favorite season!

Kendi. You have done a great job catching the colors of fall and those sweet babies! It was a treat going over the pictures again and again. Send love to our cherished ones. How blessed we are!! Elections come and go. This one was extra important for America. I hope the opposition we experienced brings us a brighter future, a clarification of the important issues. We are still the greatest nation on earth.

Love to each of you.
