After packing up the house and spending a week in Utah we headed to Ashton, Idaho for a mini reunion with the Western siblings. Blythe had a reunion earlier in the year, in Georgia, with Melecia's family and Steve's family so it was all us out West left to get together and miss them but enjoy each other.
First stop, Warm River. Well actually, first was to feed the fish.
Ellie thought a shoe was just what the fish needed. Paul saved the day and the shoes!
Ellie found her place as soon as we got to the river. First up, Doritos for a snack.
Cute Mags feeding the fish!
Ellie also decided that she LOVED the water. That worried Grandma, ALOT!
This little girl, had no fear of the water nor did she care that it was VERY cold! We were all scared of hypothermia since she wouldn't come out even though the rest of us couldn't last longer then 5 mins.
The main reason we came to Warm River was to do a little rafting.
Beautiful peaceful place!
Carter, Bess, and Glen were the first to try the raft out.
I think they had a good time!
Next up, Joel and Ellie. Ellie wanted to be in the water though, not on the raft!
Paul, Bess, Maggie, and Glen enjoying a leisurely raft ride.
Put Grandma in though and things get crazy!!
Joel decided it was all too much work and a nap in the raft was a better alternative!
Erin decided he looked a little to comfy that she wanted to join in!
It was a beautiful day to be there, have a picnic, and enjoy each others company!
Joel and Erin
The brothers/minus Steve.
You can't tell they are related AT ALL!
Cute girls enjoying some pizza on the deck while admiring the beautiful view!
Reese was so busy and loved by all, especially my kids!
Maggie really enjoyed playing with Ellie, Ellie may not have enjoyed Maggie near as much?! but over all I think they had fun.
The rest of the time was spent playing games, shooting guns, eating lots of yummy food, and just catching up with each other. I do promise Joni and I were there, just not in any of my pictures!
We really look forward to these get togethers as they don't happen near as often as we would like with everyone living all over the place.
Craziest thing happened, just as we moved away from SLC, Paul and Joni found out Paul was offered a job there. We are so sad we didn't get the chance to live closer to them.
Can't wait for the next reunion! Bring it on!!!

Love you.

Great pictures! Too bad there aren't any of Kendi and Joni. I need to take more pictures. What a fun, relaxing time. Love the chance to get together.
