Carter was so brave this year when it came time for his trip to Montana. He flew from Boise to Salt Lake ALL ON HIS OWN! He was a little nervous but so happy to see Grandma and Parker waiting for him right as his plane landed in Salt Lake.
I know I have said this before but Carter is a Montanan at heart. He would choose going there over the funnest theme park or any place for that matter. He just loves the great outdoors and all the extra perks that come with spending time with Grandma and Grandpa.....guns, late nights, sugar, driving........
I always get a crack up over the pictures when he gets back and the way he documents his trips there.
It's really quite simple and I think that's why I love that my kids are so happy to be there.
A trip to the hot tub and popcorn afterwards is SO much better in Montana!

The kids all love Grandma's dog, Roscoe.
Once again having a cousin to go on these adventures with you makes the trip that much more fun! Pretty sure it wouldn't be near as fun without each other!
My parents home is pretty simple, but the kids (all my kids) just die at HOW wonderful it is to them. I would love to be a child again just for a minute to see it through their eyes!

Goodbye to Carter's "one-on-one" Montana trip for 2013. It's obvious from all the stories he had a blast! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!

I always think that sounds like so MUCH FUN! Lucky children to have such AWESOME grandparents! FUN FUN FUN!!!!
I wonder if they will ever stop wanting to go??? I love that they love it! going home brings out the redneck in all of us! It's my favorite place too!
