Glen and Carter Go Camping/Escalante, Utah

Glen has really been wanting to take Carter camping, just the two of them.  He also knew the exact spot where he wanted them to go.  However, you have to get there early in the season before it gets blasted hot and overcrowded. Carter was lucky enough to miss a couple days of school so they could make the trip happen.

I really shouldn't be the one blogging about this but I don't quite know when Glen will find the time either so for history sake I'll just add the pictures.
They told me lots of stories from the trip (some that worry me a bit). I know they had a blast and enjoyed the time they got to spend together.  Carter is so lucky to have Glen, he enjoys being a dad.   You can tell by his actions the fun he has with his kids. I know every dad loves his children, but some just enjoy it more then others.  All of us are lucky to have him.

We were glad they made it back to us safe!

Now that's what I'd call an AWESOME father/son camping experience! Yay for Glen and Carter! Beautiful photos, too, of some gorgeous country. Glen really does have fun being a dad, as do his brothers. I love just watching them relate to their children. Thanks for posting, Kendi. "A picture says a thousand words," they say, and it's certainly true in this case.

Love you all very much.

What a great trip and amazing pictures. It's fun to watch Glen enjoy his children so much. He is a great father, indeed! We'll look forward to hear the stories when we see you this summer.

Love you guys.
