It's hard to believe from these pictures that it was SPRING conference.
We were lucky to have out of state visitors for the weekend. It was great to have Rhett and Garrett. I told Glen I think they were by far the easiest house guests we have ever had.
They came all the way from Virginia to attend conference and tour some schools for Garrett. They also came with extra tickets to the sessions. It was perfect timing. Glen and I decided about a year ago that we thought it would be a great tradition to take our kids to conference the year they turn 8.
So Glen, Carter, Rhett, and Garrett headed down for the Sunday afternoon session of conference. They met up with Madison, Eric, and Austin.
Glen sent me a text after conference was over saying, "Carter didn't make a peep."
Madison was kind enough to send me these pictures. Looks like everyone had a great time and was happy to be where they were! Thanks for the tickets Rhett, they are hard to come by here.
We were lucky to have Eric come over for dinner afterwards. We are really going to miss him when he leaves on his mission. Even though we don't really get to see him very often, he is such a refreshing person to have around. We love Uncle Eric and will be writing him lots when he's on his mission to Mexico!

Those are nice pictures of a great weekend. I'm glad they could all go to conference and spend some time with you guys! Eric was definitely on a spiritual high after attending all of the conference sessions!

They had the best time. I'm glad they were easy guests! Rhett said the same thing that you were the hosts with the mosts. Getting to attend conference with our kids has been really life changing, and having you there has made it so nice!

So did Garret ever decide where he's going to college? He said that after seeing all the "hot Utah girls that look like models" he was thinking about going to the Y. :) Cracked me up. He's about as girl crazy and Madison was boy crazy at that age!!

Thanks for having Eric over for dinner. He loves being with you and appreciates your support of him as he embarks on his mission to Cuernavaca, Mexico. You can catch his farewell talk on his new blog. Being able to attend conference is truly a boost to one's spirit. We look forward to see you next week when we bring Eric to the MTC.
