Carter's Baptism

This has been a very exciting year for Carter. So much to celebrate and lots of growing for him. He was very excited about his baptism, I would even dare to say he was more excited about it then his birthday. Lots of preparation goes into get baptized, FOR EVERYONE!

He was lucky to have lots of family members here for his special day including all his grandparents. What a great kid he must be.
There were 4 other baptisms the same day as his so the chapel was mighty full. We were the last group to leave. It was great to have so many of the people you love in one room. Carter had great support not only from family but from our ward. Both sets of his primary teachers were there, last years and this years. We have a great ward!

After Carter's baptism we had a little luncheon there at the church. Yummy food and good company, ya can't go wrong! One thing I have learned is I need to turn my camera over to others on occasions such as this, I NEVER get enough pictures. Same thing with Maggie's blessing, one day I'll learn!

It's so great to be eight!

I can't believe how old Carter is. Jane is getting baptized in May, and I'm shocked at how it's crept up on us. It seems not long ago that you and I were talking outside the RS room at church with toddlers...and now they're so old.

It was a wonderful weekend, Kendi. The baptism was great, and the confirmation blessing brought tears. Carter's one great young man; we love him and are extremely roud of him. Thanks for everything - - -the luncheon, the hospitality, the bed. I had a super time.

Love you all,
Mom/Gram

I'm very pleased that we were able to come to Carter's baptism. He is part of a very loving ward. Many people are proud of this handsome newly baptized young man. We expect great things from Carter and are so grateful for his loving parents. Congratulations.

Congratulations to Carter. It's a shame we couldn't get more pictures but I know we were hustling around setting up and taking down lunch, particularly Kendi. And we missed taking photos of Mom, Jim, Lana and a few others. Hopefully no offense taken.
