Kids can be brutally honest.
While in the dressing room at Target:
Carter announced, "Mom, you're short."
Bess then continues on, while hugging around my belly, "yeah you are short AND fat!"
Needless to say I waited for the rest of the dressing rooms to clear out and then made my escape
& I didn't buy the pants.

You're NOT fat, Kendi! You're expecting a baby, and I think kids don't know how to define that really well! No one feels clumsier and "fatter" than a pregnant lady. You're beautiful. Go get those pants! :)
At least you have actual reasons for being fat right now...and short (genetics are hard to get around). Jane called me fat just the other day for no apparent reason...other than me actually being fat. Oh boy!

That is so funny! you're pregnant though so it shouldnt make you feel bad at all! And i do think your still a couple inches taller than me at least!
