Today I busted her trying to take my cell phone with her to school, in her Hello Kitty backpack.
When I asked her if she had it she said, "Ugh....... okay okay, I just put it in there so I could text you from school."
Glen, we must prepare NOW!

She is so stinking cute! They seem to grow up so fast! The sad thing is, she will be 15 before you know it!
That's so funny. You know the way things are now, you will need to get her a phone once she's in grade school. I can't believe how many kids have them already...
She's not only cute - - -but sharp! Who taught her all about texting? I'm sure she'll turn out wonderfully; she has darn good parents to guide her along.
Love you.

oH BOY You are in trouble! Ha Ha That just made me laugh!!
Holy smokes, I changed my mind about ever wanting a girl. I was totally doing the "special Bess" thing the other day when she crosses her eyes and claps, it was fun...then I remembered people on the subway might get scared.
If Bess wants to be a popular 15 yr old she doesn't have to worry about cellphones and texting. All she has to do is the cross-eyed clap routine and she will win over everyone :)

She is a cutey! She also gives one of the dirtiest looks I have ever seen on planet earth. I dont ever want that girl angry at me. Scary stuff.
She must have learned the text thing from Mommy, not me. I think I've texted someone maybe 5 times... total. I don't even have my own Facebook page!
I figure Kendi and I will wait another year and then let Bess get her own cell phone, have her ears pierced, die her hair pink/purple and get her a part-time job. It'll be great!

Apparently this cross-eyed-hand-clapping thing is an inside joke. The cell phone thing is probably just like when little boys put on dad's shaving cream and shave with their fingers. Funny.
That's a cute girl. 15 isn't so bad. Cell phone at school, not!
Love, Dad
That's a great picture. No phones for a while Bess - wait till you're five!
Love,
Melecia
