Did you forget....

......that we had a rabbit?

Oh, because we have (no longer than a couple days, of course)!
Our rabbit is a great pet. Boring if you asking me, but very easy to take care of if you ask Glen and the kids.

We once bought a small pet collar and leash in hopes to take our rabbit for walks. It didn't turn out so well.

Did you know that Dolly (the rabbit) has at least 9 lives, if not more? It's true, she's escaped and been out roaming the neighborhood, full of cats, all night. We've always found her, much to her dismay.
Disclaimer: my mom tells us often, "some people shouldn't be pet owners".

One thing I am sure of is that she likes me best because I give her graham crackers and never try to touch her. Plus, I don't search too hard for her once she's escaped.

I found this scene quite telling of Dolly's life in our backyard. It now explains why she has 9 lives and has out lived the neighborhood cats.
They're FRIENDS.
I'd like to title this picture as: Morning Coffee Chat

I think I know why those three animals are friends. They've all been tramatized by the Jensen's dogs and have to stick together.

Jasmine (the gray cat), almost got ripped apart in a Boxer tug of war. I've never seen anything like it - hair flying everywhere. Dolly avoided an early exit after being whipped around like a Steeler terrible towel a few times. Natty (the tabby) is probably the smartest. While she gets chased a lot, she's somhow avoided the jaws of death.

I love teasing your Mom. "Oh, I don't know about Dolly. When I walked in, she was shivering and looked really weak. I don't know if she's going to make it through the night Lana." Truth is, that rabbit lives the high life. Look at her condo for heaven's sake... AND she gets to eat graham crackers.

Hmmm - - -Are those cats sitting there because they're Dolly's friends, or are they licking their chops waiting for her to come their way? :) I love bunnies, Dolly especially. No animal has softer fur than a bunny, and they don't make noise. Plus, Carter and Bess love her.

Love you all,

Mom/Gram

I guess there's only one rabbit out there for Glen...lil' Liza Jane...and she's dreaming about him in rabit heaven as we speak, wishing she could come back down and smell his hairy Gloin body.

Thanks for the laugh Paul! I can't help it if rabbits find me irresistable.

That is too funny that the bunny escapes. Look at those cats - they look like super fluff rabbits themselves.

Pets sure make life interesting.

I am not sure how long you have had the rabbit but it will probably be more popular around Easter time!!

That is a classic picture! Maybe they will stick together, maybe not :) I love that they are hangin' out in the meantime.

Your backyard looks like a little kid's zoo. I remember being part of the hunt for the rabbit and traumatizing all your neighbors for walking into their yard. My guess is the yard is a refuge for safety.
