Carter was very excited about it so we headed out. I of course was talking on the cell phone and missed our exit so we were a bit late.
We had a great lunch at Fazoli's. It had to be quick but none the less we are ready to get out of there quick with the two kids.

After being in the store for about 2 minutes I really needed to use the restroom. I hate using public restrooms but I knew my bladder couldn't wait. So around the store we walked trying to find the restroom. Finally I stopped and asked someone and they directed me on the whole other side of the store. We picked the restroom for handicaps or families. Now when I say I hate public bathrooms the big reason is because I hate taking my kids in the bathroom with me. I hate that they have to touch everything in site and that they have to always go to the bathroom as soon as they see the toilet and then sit on the toilet and touch every square inch of it. So of course that is what happened. Bess immediately ran for the toilet. I kept holding her and she would scream and then get down and start crawling away ON THE NASTY FLOOR!!! The whole time I kept thinking what am I doing? So as soon as I was done Carter decided he had to go and of course it was number 2, at which he gets on the seat and touches everything. We quickly scrubbed down and got out of there.
I found the kids section and started to look. Carter quickly found the toy section and Bess found the soft cuddly toddler toy section, which were both right by me. I continued to look around with eyes on them most of the time. I decided it wasn't working and had my quick reminder to why I don't take them with me shopping. I guess it saved me money. I found Carter a cute pair of Levi jeans but that was about it. Glen is playing in a golf tournament on Saturday so after he is done with that I think I will have my alone time to shop by myself!

I totally hear you on taking both kids into the bathroom. It is completely nasty, and I always can't wait to exit.
I love Kohls though. Too bad you didn't have time to look as much as you wanted. Have fun shopping on Saturday by YOURSELF.. even better!
Shopping with kids is a nightmare! I usually limit our outings to one (maybe two) stores. And that's a BIG maybe.
My little one HATES being confined in a stroller or shopping cart, so she throws screaming tantrums the entire time we're in public.
If I let her down, she runs like a mad woman and I don't stand a chance of actually shopping since I'm chasing her down the whole time. Aaahh, the joys of motherhood.
shopping with kids can be fun and a challenge!!
Having lunch with your husband is great!
