Bess's New Tricks

Since I have been using this blog as a sort of journal, I figured I better write down some of Bess's new tricks.

She loves to blow kisses. One day Glen showed her how to do it and the next morning she was going crazy doing it. Now all day long you can catch her throwing kisses around the room. She also likes to give kisses to her babies. We'll tell her to go get her baby and she goes and gets it and kisses her. She also likes to rock the baby back and forth.

She now waves goodbye but hasn't quite caught on that it also means hello. She shakes her head when someone is saying "no no". She loves to dance when she is sung to. When we call for Molly (our temporary pet) to come, Molly is deaf so we have to clap our hands and slap our knees so now when you ask Bess where Molly is she slaps her leg. I guess her own little sign language word for Molly.

She loves her big brother. Glen and I tend to call Carter "Bubba" so Bess has been practicing saying it. It sounds more like ba ba. She loves to go in his room and destroy it.

She has also discovered the bathroom. Oh what a joy. I don't mind her going in there if the toilet seat is down but trying to train Carter and Glen to do that is not very easy. She likes to go in and dig in the toilet and get the toilet paper everywhere. When she sees me coming her head starts to move side to side saying "no no" to herself.

She is quite our little ham lately. We get good laughs out of her. But mostly lately she has just been full of so much love for everyone. We are enjoying her lots.

Tomorrow is Glen's work day at Lagoon so we are heading there in the later afternoon. It just so happened to be our stake day at Lagoon too so we hope to meet up with some friends from our ward there. I am not too hip on Lagoon, but then again I don't really like rides so that is probably why. I am sure Carter will think he is in Disneyland again.
His Grandma sent him this spiderman kit in the mail the other day. He thought he was so cool first of because he got mail but when he say what is was he was so excited. He sure does love his Grandmas and Grandpas. Today I was on the phone with someone and I could hear his little voice from in the living room calling to me. He said my name at least a dozen times and I finally went in and said "what". He said "I miss my Grandma and Grandpa". I thought how sweet. He really does miss them all. I wish that somehow we could live closer to them so that my kids could enjoy them more.

Remember when I was talking about going through toys when I got back from Montana, well I decided that TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT. Wish me luck. Have a good day everyone AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CUTE LITTLE MEGGY!!!!! Wish we were there to celebrate with you and Gramburger tomorrow. Have fun!

Good luck cleaning out the toys, it is always a trick seeing if you can get them cleaned out before they see you doing it and decide they can't live without it!
Meggy says thanks for thinking about her!

I love the stripped outfit that Bess has on in the bathroom picture. It is so cute!

Love their little new tricks. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.

Hope that cleaning out the toys went well.
