Since father's day was just Sunday I figured it was still okay to pay tribute to my dad. Honestly this man deserves the recognition everyday. I love my dad so much. He is truly someone that I idolize. Everything he does he does out of the love for his family. When we were growing up my dad was always the one that went without. We always had everything we ever wanted and needed because he went without.
He is so proud of his kids and their accomplishments and also very proud of his grandchildren. Growing up he was the first person to give you a hug when you had made a bad decision. He has so much patience and love!
He is so down to earth and easy to talk with. On our last trip home he picked me and the kids up from the airport and dropped us off. It's about a 90 minute drive from our house. I felt so lucky to have my dad all to myself.
I always wanted to marry someone JUST like my dad. I think I did a pretty good job of find that person. I love you DAD!
