So last night was our second soccer game of the season. Not really anything different to report. Carter just doesn't seem to interested.
It's so funny because there are 5 girls on the team and 5 boys on the team and only one of the boys will actually play and all 5 of the girls will play. At least Glen isn't the coach and his own son doesn't really enjoy it. The coach is great and cute with the kids but I feel bad for him because his own son won't get out there and participate. You can definitely tell the frustration from some of the fathers.
It's actually okay because Carter isn't scared to go out there, he'll go out but he just wants to collect the rocks on the field. Most of the boys cry when their parents make them go out there.

Glen mentioned that this would be our last time going but I told him that we aren't going to teach Carter that it is okay to quit and he agreed with me. So I guess we will go sit through 6 more games and watch other kids play magnet ball. At least I have friends to visit with while I am there.
We had Bess's 9 month checkup today. She is in the 45% for her weight and 70% for her height. I thought she would weigh more then 18 pounds. She cried the whole time though. She is going through this stage where she loves people to acknowledge her and talk to her but as soon as they try to hold her or touch her she flips out. I hope she gets over this fast!
We are having a Cinco de Mayo party tonight for Young Women. A lady in our ward is coming and making us authentic mexican food. I am pretty excited.
Have a good day.
