that's what little boys are made of. Carter is going to kill me. I can't stand anything creepy or crawly and that is all he focuses on all day. The minute I open the door to go outside he is off digging for worms. Even if I tell him right before I open the door that we are going in the car and not looking for worms he doesn't care, he is off searching for the juiciest, ugliest worm. He doesn't understand that they die though if he leaves them on the sidewalk and they dry up. We keep telling him that he needs to leave them in the ground because they help the flowers grow. He loves anything that crawls. Snails, ants, potato bugs, you name it he is loves it. Well except spiders. I am quite happy that he is scared of spiders and I am sure it is my doing. We have a spider guy that comes and sprays once a month and Carter and I just love him to come and kill all our spiders. He is a really cute older man. He calls Carter and Bess his grandkids. But we definitely look forward to his visits. The picture of him on the top was from last summer. Glen hollered for me to come outside. When I got out there, there were 3 slugs crawling on him! Carter loving every minute of it.
It's been a crazy morning/afternoon running errands. I hate days like this. It's so much work to get both kids in and out of the car and carrying Bess around in her carseat is about ready to break my back. I wish I had a nanny that I could just call at the drop of a hat and she was there. Hmmmmmm......Glen wanted to know what I wanted for my birthday, I never quite thought of that until now!
Sixteen days till Disneyland!
