We've been waiting for someone to come visit us in our new surroundings, and it just so happened that Papa, Nana Sue, and Eric took the opportunity to be our first!
Eric had just got home from his mission and they drove to Salt Lake for general conference. They decided to make it an even longer trip and come see us. Lucky US!
Spring was so beautiful this year. We took the opportunity to soak it up down by the river (notice Carter? can't ever stop long enough from exploring to take a picture...so in his elements down there).
Maggie made sure to pick us all loads of flowers! I hope she never stops picking them for me, it's my favorite treat!
We spent another awesome spring evening out on the deck enjoying dinner.
Pretty sure Papa is explaining some great things about the universe to Maggie here!
And we sure hope it's all the truth because she's really soaking it up!
It was great to have helpers here to get me organized and okay my decor ideas. I have the hardest time making decisions but having someone around to either say "ya" or "nay" is such a relief for me!
Here's a before picture...
And an after. Susan, Eric, and I were a great team! Oh and Glen, he did all the hard work of hanging pictures.
We finished the project quite late into the evening. The kids had gone to bed and Glen, Eric, and Mike may have been delusional because they were looking up the corniest jokes and laughing harder then I had ever seen any of them. I think they were very exhausted....or I HOPE?!
And a daylight after picture.
And then they left and I realized I needed to hire a few more friends or family to come help because I have a ton left to do! Any volunteers?
We love visitors, visitors are always welcome...but I may just put you to work!
Thanks for the visit and help guys!

Great to see you Papa and Nana Sue! Thanks for the design help and the laughs. There were actually some really funny jokes in there... and laughing is contagious.
