Bess is one very lucky little girl! She not only turned 8 she also got baptized on her birthday! How cool is that? She will always be able to remember the exact date she was baptized.
We chose to have her baptism in Salt Lake where it was best assessable for all the family to be at.
Not only did her Grandma Berger make her baptism dress/skirt, she also ended up being the photographer. I am so grateful for all these pictures. Of course I was running late with all the last minute things that Grandma suggested they head off early to take some pictures! She's the best!
The vision of her dress/skirt couldn't have turned out any better then Bess dreamed up all thanks to Grandma! It's still Bess's church dress of choice!
Grandma and Grandpa Leishman
Being baptized by her daddy. Grandpa Moore and Grandpa Leishman were the witnesses.
Afterwards we all gathered and had some yummy food. We really felt so loved that day. SO many people came to support Bess, it was awesome!
Bess and Reese. Watching Bess get baptized made Reese very excited for her own in just a few short months.
This picture cracks me up. Bess has gone to school since kindergarten with Ryan and it just so happens that they both have older brothers the same age. Both boys played sports together so that left Ryan and Bess to entertain each other while at each sporting event.
It's funny how they HAD to act as if the other one has cooties when just months before they played together so well. Her dad must be teaching her well!
One thing Bess does not lack in is friends. She is SO lucky. There were a couple that couldn't make it that day and we missed them but we were so happy to have these girls there!
Kate, Mary, Bess, cousin Reese, and Emily
Grandma and Grandpa Moore drove all the way from Colorado to be there. It was so fun to have so many people we love in one room.
Getting a family picture just never can turn out and there is only 5 of us
All my family minus my brother. So lucky to have them all there.
Bess grew up having Jessica live just 2 houses away. She pretty much idolized Jessica since the time she was 2. We've loved watching Jessica grow up and become a amazing girl.
It's not easy being a teen these days, but Jessica has been such a great example to Bess on just what is the most important, the gospel.
When we moved into our home Jessica was just turning 8 and we went to her baptism.....it's so scary how fast that went and to see my own 8 year old standing next her makes me want to cry! And I might have that day?!

What a wonderful day that was. It was such a good experience for Bess and great to be with our closest friends and our family.

The organization, attendance, and pictures for Bess' baptism was amazing. So glad we could be there. The trip from Denver to Salt Lake City has never been that far. It was easy for us, and what a reward at the end of the road. The children's friends are a great foundation for their entire life.
Love, Mike, Grandpa Moore
