We spent the morning swimming at the pool and just lounging.
Later in the afternoon we packed a picnic lunch and drove down to Municipal Park.
We had fun watching those floating the river pass by. Carter really wanted to jump in with them. Glen promised him the next weekend that we would all float the river.
That evening we joined our new neighbors in a little fireworks show. It was good to meet so many new people that evening. It really is a great little neighborhood full of great people!
I was lucky enough to just sit back and hold little baby Kate! Oh, sweet babies are the best!

Yeah! Fun summer times. I'm surprised you didn't say just how much danger everyone was in with the fireworks going off. I was starting to fear for my life. Illegal fireworks get the blood flowing.
