Easter/Spring Break in Idaho

We spent our Easter 2013 hotel style.  It was interesting, but it worked!  The kids couldn't be happier, they love Daddy's HoTemple (as Maggie calls it).

After spending a few days in Boise we decided to hit McCall and spend the rest of our spring break from school at a condo we rented up there.
Bess has been dying to try sponge curlers.  She pestered me and pestered me until we finally found a store that sold them. Of course Maggie has to do everything her big sister does!

End results on Maggie were quite funny!  We all got a good laugh.

We spent one evening while in McCall driving to Gold Fork Hot Springs.  It was pretty neat little place.  4 different pools with different degrees of water temp and different surroundings.  This Mama Bear liked the hottest top pool.  While the kids mostly enjoyed the pool that had sand and was not quite as hot.

We spent plenty of time up there exploring the lake area that McCall surrounds.  We saw lots of wildlife.

Glen also took the time to teach the kids how to play the good ol' game of Monopoly.

This little girl decided a couple of weeks before this trip that it was time to start using the potty.  She did such a good job.  I was so nervous about all the time we would be spending in the car but she was awesome.

We even tried not to be totally lazy and had a few planking competitions.  Maggie knew how to help her mommy win!

It was very beautiful.  We will have to go back when it's a little warmer next time so we can enjoy that beautiful lake!

On our drive home to Salt Lake I caught this picture of Maggie and Bess singing along to The Little Mermaid.  I always knew that girls needed sisters!

Even though the kids are such good troopers (most of the time) in the car, I have never been more excited to finally see this sign.  It put on a lot of miles that week but we also made some great memories together!
