Maggie's 2nd Birthday Party

Maggie had 3 requests for her party. 1. Ice cream 2. to have the birthday song finally sung to her & 3. Megan and Kurtis at her party.
I think her day exceeded her expectations.

She woke up to decorations and birthday doughnuts.  Along with lots of phone calls and plenty of singing.

Next we decided to go to the aquarium.  She was quite happy about it and the best surprise was daddy showed up to meet us.

That evening we planned cake and ice cream at the park with family.  It was a perfect evening.  I sent Glen ahead to find a spot at the park with the kids while I gathered all the party supplies.
About 10 mins after Glen left I got a urgent call from him that Maggie had a really bad diaper (she had some sort of stomach bug the week before her birthday) and he didn't what he needed to change her.  I hurried and saved him.  The clothes however were not going back on.  She didn't care!
Our little spot had a small drinking fountain that didn't work but had a continious flow of water coming from the backside.  She was in heaven playing in the water.

Here is what Carter spent his time doing.

Maggie is really into Dora right now so we had a Dora cake.  Yes, a lame store bought cake.  I don't pride myself in my cake making abilities, cause I have none.  She was still happy.

Bess is truly the best sister.  Always right by her side and catering to her.  I wonder why she's so spoiled?

Lots of baby dolls and Dora stuff completed the day of honoring this little girl.  She was very happy!

A fiesta Dora dress, how perfect!

This last picture sums up this little girls personality so perfectly.  Always a little jump or skip in her step.  She doesn't miss a beat and is smarter then most.  We love her just a little too much! Now can we blink through the terrible 2's?

Maggie looks like a poster child. Awfully pretty, especially those eyes. Glad she had a happy birthday and has a big sister who dotes on her.
