Lovin' Preschool

We're pretty excited around here that someone is finally excited about school.

Today was Bess's first day at "big kid" preschool (it's held at a regular elementary school). She loved every minute of it. She loves to sit down at night and "do homework" when we're working with Carter on his homework.

It's going to be different to have her gone 4 days a week for 3 hours a day. She's my sidekick! and when I say SIDEkick, I literally mean side!, she's right next to me. I'll enjoy my friend while I can, she probably won't always like me.

We love you big girl!

Kendi, Bess is such a cutie! I love her smile! I'm glad that she is enjoying pre-school! I once had a SIDE-kick that hung around with me all day too. She is now in 2nd grade, and still remains my SIDE-kick! (Just after school!) :)

Sad. It seems like she was just a baby. What will you do with all that free time?? Hallie and Gracie have the same dress as her top picture. Love it.

Way to go, Bess. You look cute as can be, and rarin' to go. The picture of her walking away pulls at the old heartstrings a little, doesn't it? I was just thinking today that almost all our grandchildren are in school now. Come on family - - -get with the program! They grow up too fast.

Love them all dearly.

Always,

Mom/Gram

I can't wait for the day Easton starts school. Is that bad?

Bess looks so pretty, and I love her rolling backpack. I took Cecily to preschool orientation and we both felt a little lost - I almost want to pull her out and let her stay home with me this year. Time really does go fast!

That last picture is precious! What a cute girl and 4 days a week? Wow, that will be some alone time for you. I don't think I would know what to do with myself. I am sure she is loving every minute, but definitely ready to see her mom when she is finished!
