There's quite a few reason why our blogs have been few and far between but two of the main reasons would happen to be computer failure and our busy summer.
First things first, our computer needed a good visit to the computer Dr. I have to say that I was very very lucky to get all the pictures onto an external hard drive before hand. It was touch a go there for awhile and so were my emotions, just ask Glen!
Second we have been on some very fun-family- filled vacations.
First up Montana. Flathead Lake, Montana that is! A whole week long of pure heaven. Laying on the beach, reading books, boating, and enjoying each others company.
This year we did something different and went to Big Sky Water slides one day. The kids really surprised us with how brave they were.
Lots of crafts courtesy of Aunt Sheila!

Looks so, so fun! I've heard wonderful things about Flathead Lake. Would like to to there sometime. After all that summer fun, so wonder Carter has little interest in school. Quite boring by comparison! Thanks for sharing the great photos - - -and I'm glad your computer is well again.
Love you all
Mom/Gram
I feel your pain about computers Kendi...we've lost some pictures due to hard drive failures. I'm glad you got yours saved before they got lost!
Your vacation looks like a lot a fun, a real vacation full of relaxation!
We're enjoying the blogs. Keep them coming! Hope your computer gets fixed soon!

That sounds awesome! I love vacations were you can actually kick back, relax and have fun.
I am glad that your computer is back from the Dr. too. It sucks not having a computer. You feel so disconnected from everything.
Cute pictures of your kiddos! It looks like they loved every minute as well.
Sounds like an awesome vacation. The kids will always remember their trips to the lake, I'm sure. I still need to talk to you about your computer crisis.
That looks like a lot of fun! Flathead Lake is amazing! We didn't actually stay there, but we did drive by for hours and hours (seems like anyway since it's so huge) on our way home from your Cutbank wedding reception.
I have so many great pictures of the wedding and our reunion that I don't know how to choose! That's why I'm taking so long to blog. I can't wait to see all the family pictures you took. I know they came out great!!
Love ya,
Susan
One of our best friends is from Flathead - He went to Flathead Highschool and we always tease him but it truly is a beautiful place.
It sounds like you have family there so if you go back sometime try to make it to Glacier Nat'l Park which isn't too much further - it is spectacular!!
That whole area of Montana is amazing I wouldn't mind retiring there someday!!
So glad you were able to recover your pictures and other info. from your computer that would be so scary and very sad to loose!!
I am glad to see that you guys had a great summer! Building memories are the best! I love all the fun pics! I want to go to Flathead lake! That does look like HEAVEN!
