It's all about who you know

Every Friday Carter's kindergarten class has Show-n-tell. The teacher always coordinates show-n-tell with what they have been learning about that week.

A couple weeks ago they were talking about Antarctica. We decided to contact the expert, Uncle Joel, whom lived there for some time.
Carter put together a great poster board full of pictures that his Uncle had sent. He was very pleased with himself as he headed out the door to school that day.
I would guess his show-n-tell went over well that Friday, as he proudly displayed it in his room for a couple weeks after that!

Good thing we know people in high places!

Awesome poster, Carter. I'll bet you had lots of fun talking about Uncle Joel. I'm kind of proud of him, too, and like to tell my friends about his time in Antarctica. I guess we all have to live vicariously a bit, especially when it comes to Antarctica!

Love you all.

That is such a great poster board. I am sure the teacher was thrilled with that. What a great ending to their Antartica week to see real pictures!

Way to go Carter (AND mom ;)

Nice job Carter! I still talk about MY brother & his Antarctica journies too, especially when people say global warming isn't really happening. You're awesome Carter!

Great job on your poster Carter! We also think your uncle Joel is a very special guy with some great stories to tell. I'll bet your friends thought that was pretty neat too.

I agree, it is all about who you know. Like because I used to make out with joel and hold hands with him I could get into all the bars in bozeman before I was 21. He would just take me by the hand and simultaneously took me by my heart. Truly a special man and will never forget his special touch.......Oh yeah, and antarctica looked sweeeeet!

Man, I need to call you guys. I kept intending to call you guys and see how that went, looks like a great poster. Good job, Carter.
Ryan, you got to warn me when you are going to write stuff like that. I almost shot water through my nostrils. Plus, I'm pretty sure you were 21 when I moved to Bozeman.

True, I was 21. So why did I believe you when you told me I needed to hold your hand and pretend I was with you in order to get in? Man, duped again by you. Touche' my friend, Touche'!
