My camera took a turn for the worse over a month ago.
I allowed myself to be in total denial until after Christmas.
I stressed about what I would do to get it fixed, how much it would cost or if it was even fixable.
I decided the best chose would be to try to take it back to Costco and see what could be done for me.
I was one lucky girl yesterday. Sad, but still lucky.
There was no problem with the return and now the money waits till I decide which camera to purchase. I was even more lucky in the fact that my camera had lost almost $400 of it's value and now there is bigger and better out there to be purchased for that amount.
Have I told you how much I love Costco? They had me at edamame and pomegranates but now I am completely sold!

Can you see the problem?
Thanks for the good years and the pictures in between!

so sad. But Costco does have a GREAT returns policy!
I don't know if you want to go Nikon - but the new D90 also takes VIDEO. I'm dying. My D40 is great, but wow.
I'm coming into town tomorrow for a couple weeks - we should get together with Heather - and Laura if we can find a time that's good for everyone.
Amy let's totally set something up. For sure we should be able to find some time within those couple weeks.
Also I have to buy a canon because I bought an expensive lens that only goes with canon cameras.
Thanks for the tip though, that sounds awesome.
It looks like it all turned out for the best. I think Costco is one classy place. I like the way they have specialty items, especially in the food department. I'm sure you'll find a fine camera. Tell Glen I surely enjoyed his call.
Love, Mike
I'm going to call Heather too - I know she has your number - maybe one morning next week?
