Celebration Pictures

I have somewhat been reluctant to post these pictures because it makes me sick to see how they turned out. Of course August 2nd, the camera was working totally fine. Then August 3rd (the big day) it decides to take crappy pictures. It really bothers me and makes me angry. Today I finally realized what was wrong with it. Of course, after the fact, right!

Anyway here are the lovely 1st birthday pictures.

She loved her cupcake. She didn't use her hands at all while eating it so it was quite hilarious. The little kids gathered around her high chair watching her and she loved every minute of that.
Her Grandberger got her a doll that she just adores. It has a binkie, just like her.

Her Grandma in Montana got her this cool Dora scooter that she also thinks is pretty cool. But to be honest with you I don't who likes it better, her or Carter.

All and all she was pretty spoiled and enjoyed every minute of it. She loved getting sung to the most I think.

It was kind of a bitter sweet day. I am happy to see her grow up and learn new things but it really makes me sad that she isn't my baby anymore. Her first year has been really fun. It has gone by way too fast.

I honestly remember the night before I went in the hospital to have her. I stayed awake all night. I really thought she would never get here and just imagined how different our lives were going to be. I was really nervous about the change.
She has definitely changed our lives. We are loving every minute with this little person. There isn't a day that goes by that we aren't all rolling on the ground laughing about something she has done or some face she has made. She really has a very special spirit that we are happy to have in our house.

*(once again blogger is being retarded, more pictures in another post)

She's darling! It sounds like you had a great birthday celebration. 1st birthday's are so fun and really do make you think.."how did it go by so fast?"

Love the cupcake eating without hands.

I think the pictures turned out great. First birthdays are always bitter sweet, it's nice to have them get independent but it's sad to loose your baby.
