Weekend of Accomplishments

Yeah, finally we had a weekend to just get things done. It felt so good. We were invited to a friends cabin but passed up the chance because we have had so many things we have been wanting to get done.

Glen and I were also able to go on a much needed date night. We went to Market Street Grill. We sat out on the patio. It was still hot but it is near a little creek so it was peaceful and the food was good so I didn't notice the heat too much. Afterwards we went to Target and Home Depot. Fun stuff! One of my favorite stores and Glen's favorite store.

I was kind of bummed with my babysitter though. I have gotten her a couple of times because she lives right next door and always shows interest in my kids but this time I called around before I resorted to her. I just wish she would play with my kids more. Carter just said they watched T.V. the whole time. Hmmm.....?

I have been working on this project for about the last month and we finally finished it on Saturday. I love it. I was a little nervous about how it was going to turn out but I decided after it was all said and done that I really do love it.....well for at least now. I had seen in the Pottery Barn magazines these picture hanger things and figured I could make my own for lots cheaper. It was making me sick not to have the pictures of the kids that I had gotten taken about 3 months ago up so I finally have some of them up.
Now on to the next project. Glen just LOVES my projects.

Happy 30th birthday to my friend Kim yesterday! I am not far behind you. I miss you and hope you come to Utah soon to visit. I'll even take you to your favorite fast food restaurant Taco Bell while your here! MUAH!!!!!

I LOVE that picture hanger!! Is it a peg board? Nice job.

It does feel good to get jobs finished and crossed off. Good for you. I'm glad that you guys were able to go out as well.. sorry about the babysitter. It's hard to find a really good one sometimes.

Good luck with the rest of the never ending projects :)
Have a great one.
