Good Article

I found this cool article on morning seminary or seminary in general and thought it was a good one.
It reminded me of those many mornings of rolling out of bed or being pushed out of bed by my parents. It reminded me of pouring hot water on my windshield, to melt the ice, because I was late for seminary and didn't have time for the car to warm up to melt the ice. I can't honestly say I learned a ton from seminary but I know that it instilled values in me that I wouldn't have had without it.
I had the best seminary teacher too. He was funny, loving, and really cared about us all. Unlike many seminary teachers here in Utah he wasn't paid. He was so patient when we would show up with only 10 minutes left in class.
It reminded me of the Friday morning doughnut day.
I remember thinking I can't wait till seminary is over and I am done with it but now I wish they offered something like that so I could get up early and actually learn what I should have then. Hope you all read the article, it's a good one. One I should save for my own kids for when they are old enough.

That was a good article. My experience was much like yours. My mom was my teacher, and she wasn't paid either; it was a calling. She got us up out of bed every morning, and we went in our pajamas with a blanket wrapped around us. I slept through a good portion of the four years, but I am also glad I actually went. It truly does make a difference.

There are institute classes you can go to (even free of charge if you don't want college credit), but none of them are in the early morning hours that I know of. It's something I should look into a little more, too.
