An Evening at Girls Camp

Last night I had the pleasure of riding up to girls camp. I was glad I went last night because it was their skit night and quite hilarious.
Our stake decided this year for camp we should do African countries. We were Mozambique and our animal was the Impala.
Our girls made up their own police/gangster skit. To be completely honest with you I didn't really understand the whole skit? The girls were pretty excited though because they stole all of the other groups flags and flashed them at the end of the skit. I guess our ward has made it a tradition to steal the flags from each camp every year. No one seemed too surprised when the girls threw all the flags out at the end.
We are really lucky with how well all our girls get along. Honestly we had stake leaders come to our camp last night after our skit and thank us for getting along so well together. The girls really do a good job of including each other and really act as if they all really care about each other. We are really lucky for that.
I am really bummed that I couldn't be there all week. It seems as if they were having a blast on their African Safari.

Good ol' Girls Camp! It seems like not long ago I was there, but it was FOREVER ago.

I'm glad that you got to go up at least. How far away is it? Looks like fun. Cute pictures!

That is lucky that the girls get along. True blessing.

Have a great weekend!

I'm looking forward to and I'm apprehensive about going to camp. We head out next week, should be an adventure. I looks like the girls were having a good time and that's really what counts!!

Oh, how I loved girls camp. Looks like your girls really have fun together. I personally think you're totally lucky to be able to go. I've never had a calling in YW, so I haven't been since I was 17. I'd love to go again!
