Wow, we had a busy funfilled weekend. It started out with dinner out at Cafe Rio with Paul, Joni, Papa, and Nana Sue. Then we wished Paul and Joni off on their new adventure. We are really going to miss them LOTS! Good Luck.

Glen had his elders quorum party on Friday night. They planned for a service project and then a BBQ here afterwards with the families. Of course the weather had been beautiful until around 5 and then it poured. Glen had everything set up here and then had to set everything up at the church too. It was fun night. Just a few families showed but it was a good group of people and we had a good time.
Saturday morning we woke up early to walk in the cystic fibrosis walk/fundraiser in Provo. My girlfriend Lora has a little girl with cystic fibrosis and every year they raise money and do a walk. It was a beautiful day to do it. The totally earnings from the whole event was $18,000 and Gracie's Angels (our group) raised $13,000 of it. I think that is amazing. The money will go to research in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. It's always nice to feel like you are contributing to things like this. The kids had fun. They got to see Cosmo the Cougar (BYU) and we got free Seven Peak tickets out of it. I forgot my camera. Dangit!
We came back home and had naps, worked in the yard a bit and prepared for our night out at the movies. We met my sister and saw Over The Hedge at the drive in. Carter had a blast.

Carter actually went to nursery today without a fight. It's hard for him because of the way his birthday falls. He is the oldest one in there with a lot of babies, and all of his friends are sunbeams. He will almost be 4 by the time he gets out of there. I feel bad for him but I realize that they do have fun in there and he should enjoy it while he can.
The youth in the ward are preparing for our big fundraiser this weekend. I should say the adults are preparing for our big fundraiser this weekend. The money goes towards camp and youth conference. We are doing a BBQ and service auction. When I say BBQ, I mean full out southern BBQ. We had a really good turn out last year and made some good money so I hope for the same again this year. It's just a lot of work getting ready for this kind of stuff.
Hope you all had a great weekend. Thanks to those that leave comments and those of you that don't please do, it's nice to hear from you!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Wish our weather was as nice as yours is now. We're so hot you can't go outside unless you're on the way to a pool! Swimming lessons started today for Maddie and gymnastics start tomorrow. It's going to be a fun summer!
Looks like a fun weekend...Drive in movies are always a good time!!
Looking foward to seeing everyone soon!
