This morning we got up and went to my friend Heather's in-laws house to go swimming. They live just a couple blocks away from me and just opened their pool for the season. We spent a lot of time there last summer and I am sure we will spend even more time there this summer.
Bess was a little unsure about it at first. She was scared it was going too be cold but after she realized it wasn't cold she loved it. I was really surprised with how long she wanted to stay in.
Carter wanted to put the water wings on but stayed right on the edge for a good part of the time until I showed him that he could float with them on. He was so proud of himself after he finally let go of me. He was a little unsure for about 30 seconds and then he realized how cool it actually was.
All and all I think we had a blast. The best part for me is that it wears them out for some good naps. Hope everyone is having a good week. XXOO

The pool is definately an awesome place to wear kids completely out! :) It's like a win win situation! Fun and long naps. How fun for you guys.
That's nice when it's a private pool so you don't have thousands of small children everywhere!
