Birthday Wishes

I know my Grandma Leishman won't read this blog but since it is a journal for myself too I wanted to wish her a happy day.

It's hard to see my grandparents get older. I hate seeing them decline. In the last couple years she has really gne down hill. Seeing her like that is really hard for me.

Growing up my grandparents had a ranch that bordered Canada. It was the coolest place ever to go to. I remember riding horses, hanging out at the barn, being in the tree house, playing with cousins, my grandpa taking us to drive, branding of the cows, and riding 4 wheelers. There are so many memories of "the ranch" and so many good memories with my grandma.

She is the kindest, most gentlest person you will ever meet. She tends to be a worry wort and drive us all crazy with being that way. But I truly know that she just loves us all so much that she just worries about us.

My dad had one older sister that was 10 years older then him. It was just the two of them. While my dad's sister, Linda, was pregnant with her forth child she got preclampsia really bad and about 4 years later died. My grandma raised those 4 kids while she was sick and she was very much like a mother to them until their dad remarried.

I love my grandma very much and want to thank her for all the good memories. She is a great example in my life. I hope she has a good day. Happy Birthday Grandma.
