We're Leaving On A Jet Plane

.....don't know when we'll be back again. Not really but we are leaving tomorrow morning for Montana. Carter, Bess, and I are flying out in the morning and my sister and her girls are leaving Friday. I think we will probably stay for a week. Carter is SO excited he loves to go there and just run free. I am excited to go and not have to worry about what to cook for dinner, relax, get help with the kids, and well seeing family is a plus I guess.
Carter and I cleaned the basement today. I made up a new rule that he has to pick it up every time after he plays now because it just gets so out of control. We took before and after pictures.

Three cheers for mommy and Carter. I have decided though when we get back from Montana that we are going to go through some toys and give some to the little boys and girls that need them more. I want to have Carter help with that but he freaks out if I throw a used tissue away so I don't know how well that will go over?

Bess has been so grouchy. Teething has been really hard for her. She still only has 2 teeth, which she has had for almost 2 months. I feel bad but she is awful to give medicine to so she just lives with the pain most of the day. I just realized on Saturday that it was time to put away some of her baby things - I took the swing down, put the bouncy chair away, changed her into a big carseat. I realized she isn't a little baby anymore. It made me sad. Sometimes you just want to keep them small and innocent. I swear her growing up has gone so much faster then Carter did. I thought I would share a newborn picture of her.

Daddy is still gone and we miss him lots. Carter keeps saying he is coming back right? I assure him he is coming back but we won't see him until we get back from Montana. It's kind of hard for their little minds to comprehend I think.

So last night was our official last night of soccer. YEAH for the Pink Panthers.

Hope everyone has a great day. We miss you all so much. Come Visit!
