Sunday Hike

Yesterday (Sunday) we drove up Millcreek Canyon and did a little hike/walk. It only takes us about 10 minutes from our house to get there! It was perfect weather up there. It was nice to get out of the heat. Bess still isn't feeling so good but she seemed content while we were there.
We saw lots of butterflies, carpenter ants, horse flies, and complete with a crocodile. I didn't know that Utah had crocodiles but Carter was sure he saw one. He kept pointing to this one area saying he saw a crocodile....I think he was going crazy! Sad thing is Glen and I kept looking for it.
Glen leaves out of town tomorrow until Friday night. I am home alone with the kids until we get this plane ticket situation figured out. Hopefully we can leave by at least Thursday. We watched When A Stranger Calls on Saturday which I told Glen wasn't fair because he is leaving me home alone this week after watching it. Good thing for night lights. We rented the movie from Red Box, (outside of McDonald's)best deal. While we were standing there renting it some girl that was in line in front of us gave us some codes to use to get free movies. I know it's only a dollar but still why not get it free right? If anyone wants the codes let me know and I'll give them to you.
It's a little cloudy here today. Still hot though! I like when it is a bit cloudy though because then I can go out and jog with the kids in the jogging stroller and I don't here complaints of the sun being in their eyes. Maybe after Bess's afternoon nap I can go for a little jog.
We have some exciting news to share with you all........Can anyone guess what it is?
