It finally snowed!

We had a very brown Christmas break this year.  It didn't seem much like the holidays when it was almost 40 degrees and no white snow to be seen, the mountains were even quite bare!
About 3 days before the kids were to head back to school we finally got some snow.  They couldn't wait to get on their snow gear and head outside.
Bess decided it only made sense that if there are snowmen that there has to be snow women too.  So she was adamant that her and Glen make one.  I think "it" turned out lovely!

That was until they told me she was me.  Ouch!  I think she looks a little more like Benjamin Franklin?

They spent a good four hours making some great memories in that snow & I loved seeing the big grins on their faces!

Fantastic! She may not look like you, Kendi, but she definitely is a woman. Quite athletic, sporty, and fit! Awesome job, Glen and Bess. And the grins deliver the real message. Hooray for the snow-woman makers!!

Love you all,.

Our neighbors were joking with me that I was living out some wierd fantasy with my snow angel. Good thing it was in the back yard or we might have had Christmas Story leg lamp interest from passers by.

The funny thing was that over the next 3 days as she slowly melted, she bent backwards like she was doing the limbo until she finally couldn't hold up any longer.

They definately have the snow hair down perfectly! What a great snow woman! Good job for thinking of equality, Bess! I wish we'd get a little snow here!

C.J. rushed me to the computer to look at this. It's awesome. I agree...a little more Ben Franklin-esque than you, but still a relative masterpiece.

I love the way Glen gets creative with his kids. I'm not sure which one is the most "Kid" Glen or the youngins' Snow woman looks happy and has a solid enough foundation to hold up your back yard and keep snow around for a while.
